19th Classic Jazz Workshop
The "Classic Jazz" that this workshop focuses on refers to the first 50 years of jazz history. The most common instruments in jazz, including vocals, will be taught. Registration is only possible directly with the Burg using the link below in the detailed description.

About the event
The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to get started with improvisation or improve in the genre of classic jazz, which, according to our broad definition, includes blues and New Orleans jazz, as well as swing, mainstream and Latin American styles (e.g. Creole jazz or bossa nova). There will also be theory courses such as harmony and ear training, as well as events on peripheral areas of music such as the music business or stage technology. All of the instructors are not only sought-after musicians, but also experienced teachers who have been passing on their knowledge to those eager to learn using tried-and-tested concepts for many years. What's more, they are all nice people with whom you can have a good chat in the evening during the session. And there will definitely be one or two opportunities for that.
