Profile
I have been working as a concert pianist, singer and composer for over 30 years.
My teaching work is closely linked to stage practice and my own artistic production.
I value rhythmic clarity, a structured understanding of form, and musical independence – so that you not only play pieces, but understand and shape them.
Piano
The focus of my work is on the instrument.
We are working on sound, touch and rhythmic stability, on harmonic understanding and improvisational confidence.
The goal is to recognize musical connections, consciously shape them, and develop your own expression.
Piano lessons are of course also possible without singing.
Voice & Piano
I teach singing exclusively in conjunction with piano playing.
The combination of voice and accompaniment requires coordination, harmonic overview, and sonic presence.
We are developing both as a unified whole – technically sound and musically convincing.
I do not offer pure singing lessons without instrumental work.
Songwriting & Composition
Original music doesn't come about by chance – it grows from idea, structure and sense of form.
We are working on melody, harmonic dramaturgy and clear architecture –
from the initial motif through text and structure to the harmonious overall form.
Songwriting can be part of piano lessons or form a separate focus.
Improvisation
Do you just want to sit down at the piano and start playing? Then ditch the sheet music! You'll learn to improvise over chords and pieces, accompany songs freely, and spontaneously develop sounds and melodies.
Understanding form, timing, and harmonious orientation create the security from which freedom arises.
