Piano workshop "Away with the notes" (2 days)
Do you want to gain more freedom on the keys? Just sit down at a piano and get started? Accompany another instrument or a vocals using chords? This weekend, you'll learn everything you need to get started with improvisation and playing by ear.

About the event

Target group: Hobby players and amateur pianists with previous knowledge, semi-professional musicians with and without band experience, classically trained pianists, music educators
Lesson content: Who wouldn't want to play a piece freely and without sheet music, just sit down and improvise when there's a piano somewhere in the corner? It's not magic and can be practiced with clear concepts. This workshop covers: Introduction to playing by ear and chords, simple improvisation concepts, basic harmony, melody finding and phrasing, rhythmic and melodic exercises, and song accompaniment.
Duration: The workshop starts on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
(Saturday: 10:00 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 17:30, Sunday: 10:00 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 17:30
