Hamburg-based American singer Julie Silvera combines classical jazz tradition with a unique stylistic diversity in her music. Whether as a soloist, big band frontwoman, or leader of gospel and jazz choirs, Julie captivates audiences with her expressiveness, her joy of improvisation, and her touching voice: velvety smooth, powerful, and always authentic.


Julie has performed as a backing vocalist for international artists such as Michael Bublé, George Benson, Josh Groban, and Quincy Jones. She is a three-time winner of the prestigious Lionel Hampton Award and a two-time DownBeat Magazine Award winner. Her extensive training includes classical vocal studies and a doctorate in jazz vocal performance from the University of Miami.
Her performances are characterized by stylistic openness, musical depth, and charismatic stage presence. Julie interprets jazz standards, soul ballads, and gospels with a blend of technical perfection and emotional depth that immediately gets under your skin. She always remains approachable, creating a connection with the audience through her performance that lasts far beyond the moment.
