Baltic Blues Tour 2025 – My little concert tour through Estonia 🇪🇪

At the end of August 2025, I had the opportunity to undertake a small but wonderful concert tour through Estonia with my Baltic Blues program. Three concerts, three very different locations – and everywhere I met wonderful people who were open to my music. For me, it was a journey full of inspiration, encounters, and special moments.

First stop: Estonian National Piano Museum in Holdre 🎹

It all started with a concert at the National Piano Museum in Holdre. Surrounded by antique grand pianos and an impressive collection of historical instruments, I immediately felt at home. It was a magical moment to play my Baltic Blues program in this special space – music with its roots in classical music. Jazz and blues, honors famous Estonian composers, but also bears my own signature, through compositions that this special little country has inspired me to create.

Second stop on the concert tour: Muhu Island – Pädaste Manor 🌿

From Holdre, I continued on to the island of Muhu, where I had the pleasure of performing at the beautiful Hotel Pädaste Manor. This concert also had a very intimate atmosphere. The combination of elegant interior design, historic walls, the tranquility of the island, and a very attentive audience made the evening a true highlight for me. One of the hotel's owners, Imre Sooäär, is himself an impressively talented pianist, and so a little jam session developed during the soundcheck. The evening ended very comfortably outside by the fire – it was Bonfire Night – with a few beers.

Last But Not Least: Pärnu – Hotel Victoria 🎶

The tour concluded in Pärnu, Estonia's summer capital. I played my final concert of the trip at the historic Hotel Victoria . It was a fitting finale: a warm and welcoming audience and an evening brimming with energy – from gentle blues moments to arrangements of works by Arvo Pärt and Raimond Valgre. The Art Nouveau ambiance of Café Grand and the exhibition of impressive artworks by Mark Kostabi provided a special setting and made the concert an unforgettable experience, where music, art, and architecture blended beautifully.

My conclusion ✨

This short tour has once again shown me how powerfully music connects people – whether in New Orleans, Germany, or the Baltic states. Estonia welcomed me with open arms, and I am grateful for every encounter and every note I was able to play there.
