The 4 pianists:
Edwin Kimmler , Landshut, plays guitar, harp and of course piano and sings like the devil at the famous crossroads.
Jan Luley , Bad Hersfeld, effortlessly masters the entire spectrum of traditional jazz on the piano, but is particularly adept at New Orleans grooves.
Christian Christl , Essen, prefers barrelhouse piano and the virtuosity of boogie woogie.
Matthias Heiligensetzer, Allgäu, is fascinated by rock'n roll, boogie woogie and New Orleans piano of the great masters.
The 4 Pianists
Current concert program: "Mississippi Spirit"
Along the largest river in the United States, the music is as diverse as the landscape and the people. The variety of sounds is enormous. Whether you're cruising the Mississippi on one of the famous steamboats or taking a short trip to cities like St. Louis, Memphis, or New Orleans, the small towns and their quaint barrelhouses and dive bars are also fascinating. Music is everywhere. From blues to boogie-woogie to the legendary New Orleans jazz of days long gone.
With virtuosity and great joy, the four pianists delight their audiences with precisely this musical blend in their new stage program. And they thank them with standing ovations at every concert. The dramatic composition is unparalleled. The spontaneous interaction in pairs, threes, and, of course, fours promises an entertaining evening of concerts.
